Summer will be here before we know it! And if you’re a competitive athlete, the summer break from school can be a great time to hone your skills and develop strategies that will improve your athletic performance.

F.A.S.S.T. (Female Athlete Speed and Strength Training) is a program specifically designed for female middle and high school athletes. We address the unique needs of female athletes while providing resources that will lead to improvements on and off the court, field, or pitch.

In F.A.S.S.T., you or your daughter will focus on the following skills and strategies:

1. Develop Speed

Like other aspects of athletic performance, speed is a skill which means it’s trainable. Get faster on the court, field, or pitch.

2. Increase Strength and Power

We’ll focus on building total-body strength and power while also improving core strength.

3. Improve First Step Quickness

Improving your explosiveness, acceleration, and first step quickness might be just what you need to take your performance to the next level.

4. Improve Multi-Directional Speed

Move quickly and efficiently by developing multi-directional speed and agility side-to-side, forward-to-backward, backward-to-forward, and any direction in between.

5. Increase Endurance

Improve all aspects of athletic performance, including aerobic endurance.

6. Build a Strong, Resilient Body

Strong, resilient athletes can handle and endure long practices, grueling competitions, and long seasons.

7. Discover Lifelong Nutritional Strategies

Learn effective nutritional strategies to promote continued athletic performance, proper recovery, and long-term health.

8. Establish a Lifelong Health and Fitness Foundation

Lay the foundation for lifelong health and fitness habits that encourage a sustainable healthy and active lifestyle.

At Pinnacle Performance and Fitness in Corpus Christi, we created the Female Athlete Speed and Strength Training (F.A.S.S.T) program to provide effective and efficient performance coaching to female athletes. We can help your daughter develop as an athlete and reinforce what you as a parent have been trying to instill.
